Recurring Events:
– Tuesday Night Rehearsal 6pm-8:30pm – every Tuesday from 8/23 through 11/1, then once on 11/29.
– SLOIMBA General Meetings – Once a month. Typically the 3rd Wednesday of the month during Marching Season and 3rd Tuesday of the month otherwise.
August
Tue 9 – Freshman and New-to-SLOHS Band Day 9am-3pm (Taylor Gym). Bring a sack lunch. Don’t bring an instrument. Go HERE for what else to bring. Parent Volunteers sign up HERE
Wed 10 – Band Camp – All Band/Color Guard Members 9am-4:15pm (Taylor Gym). Bring a sack lunch. Don’t bring an instrument. Go HERE for what else to bring. Parent Volunteers sign up HERE. Band Parent Info Meeting @ entrance of Adult School after 9am drop-off (tentative depending on parent leadership availability)
Thurs 11 – Band Camp -All Band/Color Guard Members. Freshmen 7:55am @ SLOHS Big Gym for Orientation (“Welcome Back Day”). Join rest of Band @ Taylor Gym after orientation. 10th-12th graders drop-off 9am @ Taylor Gym (will go to SLOHS Big Gym for Orientation during the day)/. Pickup @ 4:15pm @ Taylor Gym. Bring your instrument and a sack lunch. Go HERE for what else to bring. Parent Volunteers sign up HERE.
Friday 12 – Band @ SLOHS – travel to Granite Ridge, All Band/Color Guard Members. Dropoff 8am @ Taylor Gym. Bring your instrument and a sack lunch. Bring items for on-campus camp AND Granite Ridge (packing lists HERE). Buses with students depart ~3pm for Granite Ridge. ***There will be no parent pickup or dropoff of students at Granite Ridge. Students must arrive and depart Granite Ridge on the SLOHS buses. NO EXCEPTIONS*** Parent Volunteer Signup HERE.
Saturday 13 – At Granite Ridge Band Camp. Parent Volunteer Signup HERE.
Sunday 14 – Buses return from Granite Ridge. pickup 12:45pm at SLOHS after students unload buses and trailer. (no lunch provided). Parent volunteer signup HERE.
