Band Classes

Band classes include marching band (fall), concert band (winter and spring) and jazz (year-round). Class descriptions are on the SLOHS Visual and Performing Arts webpage. The course names are:

• Symphonic Band Ensemble I
• Symphonic Band Ensemble II
• Wind Ensemble
• Jazz/Stage Band
• Honors Jazz Band

Try-outs for Concert Band Placement will occur early in the school year. Try-outs for honors jazz band are in the spring.
